  • Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive strength-based assessments for newly admitted patients and their families, ensuring a thorough understanding of their individual backgrounds and needs.

  • Provide individualized therapy sessions to patients, including both individual and family counseling, tailored to meet the specific challenges and situations they face.

  • Complete necessary documentation for billing and insurance purposes, including treatment plans and authorization forms, adhering to specified time frames to ensure efficient care delivery.

  • Develop and implement crisis management strategies, safety and wellness plans, and relapse prevention resources to support patients in maintaining stable mental health.

  • Assist in creating thorough discharge plans, ensuring that patients are well-prepared to navigate their next steps post-therapy.

  • Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, as well as organizational policies, to uphold the highest standards of care.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to cultivate your skills and stay informed of the latest practices within the mental health field.

  • Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings, contributing to a collaborative approach to patient care.

  • Fulfill all licensure obligations and complete mandated training to maintain professional credentials.

  • A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field is required.
